commissioned drawing

I was asked to make this piece for someone to give to her husband on Christmas. She wanted a tree with a nest, two birds and two eggs in the nest. I tried to make the piece as warm and inviting as I could. I like how the bird family is in an area of space that seems to be shaped like a heart. This wasn't intended at all but a great surprise when I saw it.

lions for leo

One of the moms in our playgroup wanted me to draw some cards for her son. I really got excited about this project and I think once all of the commissioned pieces are done, I'm going to add a children's section to my shop with drawings and note cards.
