From the artists studio...
I bought a new canvas today and sketched out a landscape. This one will be 24" x 30" and a mixed-media. Hopefully, I'll get some good painting in this week. Hope you had a great weekend!

My piece, "The Amber Field" (seen above), will be on exhibit at the Chicago Artists Coalition's 12th Annual Chicago Art Open 2010.
The opening reception is this Saturday, April 24th from 12-4 pm.
The show will go from April 24th until May 7th.
at the River East Art Center

Admission is free & open to the public.
Gallery Hours are:
Tuesday - Sunday: 11am - 5pm

upcoming show - The Space Between Us - in Brooklyn NY!

The Art House Co-op has created a project called The Space Between Us where artists were asked to create something on a 4"x6" piece of paper. We all returned the art and now it's up to the viewers of the exhibit to vote for the top 100 drawings.
I submitted a landscape (seen above). If you are in Brooklyn tomorrow night, stop by and see all the art that was submitted. It should be a very interesting show! Unfortunately, I won't be there - but I can't wait to hear all about it.
