From the artists studio: Reunion revisited

I've been looking at some of landscapes and thinking about which ones I want to revisit (a nicer way of saying re-work).  I liked Reunion but felt it needed some work on the silos and the colors were a little too bright.  I've spent the past few weeks working on changes to the piece.  I ended up widening the silos, changing the roof of the little house/building and making the colors for the landscape more earthy. Here's the final (keep in mind that the lighting is a little off as we're in the beginning of a snowstorm and it's gray outside:
